The Certain Someones is a folk rock band from Chicago. We
play original music in venues on the north side.
Gwen Greer is the songwriter, vocalist, and
plays acoustic guitar.
Byron Harlan rocks out several different basses
and a mandolin.
Anthony Gajkowski bangs on the drums.
It's spring of 2008 and Gwen Greer the Amateur Engineer with a
discerning ear and no fear of cool new gear is getting a Mac Pro, yes indeedy,
and will be able to actually achieve her goal of recording the band and having
it sound pretty darn professional-like. Seriously, the unfinished basement has
been rid of the junk and is shaping up to be a nice little studio - cool in the
summer and frigid cold in the winter. Hey, you don't get chilly as long as
you're a rockin'.
