The Certain Someones came together in September of 2005, and have steadily
been learning a catalogue of songs written by Gwen Greer; catchy, melodic
pop/folk/rock driven songs, full of joy, heartache and resolution, and best,
possibility.
- Gwen Greer (vox, guitar, bass) had been
performing solo, and decided she is just still young and carefree enough to
form a band, and allow other passionate artists finesse her material into
being all that it can be.
- Byron Harlan (bass, mandolin)
- Anthony Gajkowski (drums)
The band found themselves through ads placed in the Music section of the
Chicago Craigslist.
All have a passion and talent for music and for performance,
and consider themselves lucky to be playing together. And how!
